HWA officials have announced  that  a Super Six Pack Challenge to crown an HWA Cruiserweight Champion will headline HWA Friday The 13th: Night of the Cruiserweights on Friday Night June 13th at Sports Plus in Evendale, OH.

The Super Six Pack Challenge will combine elements of both Six Pack Challenge and Ladder matches. Six men will start the match. Competitors can be eliminated by pinfall or submission. When it is down to two men, those two men will be able to use a ladder to retrieve the HWA Cruiserweight Championship hanging high above the ring.

Now a look at the combatants...

Billy Roc

Roc was the first man to qualify for a shot at the HWA Cruiserweight title back in January when he pinned Dustin Rayz... A back injury took Roc out of HWA competition in April, but with five weeks to go until the Super Six Pack Challenge, Roc is expected to be 100%.

Alan Wasylychyn

The Solution could help bring Brock Guffman one step closer to his plan of championship domination in the HWA by winning the HWA Cruiserweight Championship on June 13... Alan qualified for a shot at the title when he delivered a vicious german suplex to his now former tag team partner, Aaron Williams, at HWA Outbreak to pick up a controversial win.

Virus

Virus finally picked up his first win in the HWA at HWA CyberClash 3.0 when he defeated Chikara outcast, Vin Gerard, to qualify for a shot at the HWA Cruiserweight Championship... Many would consider Virus an underdog in this match, but that doesn't phase "The Hazardous Highflier" as he is looking to utilize his Lucha Libre inspired style to take him to the top of the HWA cruiserweight division.

Scotty Vortekz

The Naptown Dragons wanted to make an impact their first weekend with the HWA and Scotty Vortekz certainly did that when he won a Six Man Scramble in East Peoria, IL to advance to Night of the Cruiserweights... The biggest daredevil in the pack, Vortekz will shine if he has the opportunity to compete in the ladder match portion of the event.

Aaron Williams

"The Astonishing One" Aaron Williams announced earlier this week on HWA Online that he was going to use his Pick Your Poison contract to insert himself into the HWA Cruiserweight Championship Match at Night of the Cruiserweights... Aaron will not only be looking to capture the title but to get a measure of revenge on his former tag team partner, Alan Wasylychyn.

Johnny Gargano

One of the hottest prospects to come out of the Cleveland independent wrestling scene in years, Johnny Gargano has already managed to ruffle feathers in the HWA despite the fact that he has never stepped foot in an HWA ring... Gargano negotiated himself quite a deal when he got the green light from HWA officials to be a part of the Super Six Pack Challenge.  Gargano is hoping to make the most successful HWA debut in history by capturing a championship in his very first HWA match.
