The HWA returns to the Donald E. Prues Center in Norwood for HWA Road To Destiny 2010!

In the fourth installment of The Roundtable our panel of experts make their predictions of the eight scheduled matches for HWA Road To Destiny.

Our panel includes; HWA ring announcer and backstage interviewer "Bake Sale" Bob Bowling, HWA color analyst and co-host of HWA Upload, Ryan Campbell, HWA Online Chief Correspondent "General" Andrew Grevas, and "The Voice of the HWA" Chris The Brain.

JON MOXLEY vs. BRYAN DANIELSON

Chris The Brain:  This one is one of the biggest matches in HWA history, if not the biggest and it is almost too close to call, but Mox has proven he's not only one of the greatest in HWA, but in all of wrestling. The man was #103 on this year's PWI 500 countdown, he's a champion where ever he goes and defeating the "Best in the World" Bryan Danielson will only further solidify Moxley's standing in the world of professional wrestling and I believe that's the extra motivation Mox will use to take home the win!

Andrew Grevas: In previous Roundtables I've bet against Mox and he's made me eat my words every time. Mox is no longer the HWA Champion, a fact that makes him one pissed off man. Knowing Mox, he's focusing all of his energy and anger towards this match. Danielson on the other hand has a lot on his plate these days and he might not have had the proper time to train for "The Most Dangerous Man in the HWA" . I'm picking Mox to get his hand raised and Bake Sale Bob you still owe me $50 from the last Roundtable. Care to make it double or nothing?

Bake Sale Bob: In quite possibly the biggest match in the history of the HWA who should I choose?  I mean on one hand you have Jon Moxley who's gym bag has more gold in it that a cash 4 gold envelope can hold, but how can someone bet against someone who's "the best in the world"???  Mox has been on the roll of all rolls but I think that losing the HWA Heavyweight title to Gerome Phillips did show even his armor can have a chink in it.  Bake sales are up and I will take the General's bet and I will go with Danielson.

Ryan Campbell: Funny no one is asking me to take any bets, perhaps my record in Roundtables speaks for itself. This  match is a treat. As a commentator some matches come down the pipe that just get you excited to do your job, then there are these matches that remind you why your even a wrestling fan. For months now I have been saying that Moxley is one of the best in the world in pro wrestling and it is only a matter of time before he is on to bigger and better things. Finally I get a chance to see if what I have been saying is true. Grevas can say that Danielson has a lot on his plate but the thing on his plate was the MAIN EVENT at SUMMERSLAM! A week ago this guy was still toiling in the indies for a paycheck. Now part of me wants to think that he will not bring 100% in this match but then I think of the type of competitor Danielson is. He wouldn't still take this match if he wasn't coming in to prove he's the best in the world and that he deserves everything he is getting. This man is a fighter first and foremost. Possibly the most like Moxley of anyone we have seen Mox wrestle. For me its a toss up and part of me just wants to watch but I think if it was a month later the new schedule of Danielson might affect him but he is riding high right now and will carry that into Road to Destiny.

HWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION GEROME PHILLIPS vs. DRAKE YOUNGER

Chris The Brain: There's a growing problem in the HWA and the name of that problem is The Code. This newly formed faction has already caused the locker room and HWA management a great deal of headaches, as a member of the HWA Championship Committee I voted for Drake Younger to come in because I believe if anybody can nip The Code in the bud, it is "The Psycho Shooter" Drake Younger. The man is tough as nails, he'll go toe to toe with anyone and I believe he'll be the next HWA Heavyweight Champion.

Andrew Grevas: Brain, you're right about one thing: Drake is tough as nails. When the bell rings and this match starts, it will be a fight to the finish. However, Phillips is on a roll. He's more focused and more angry than he's ever been before and with the rest of The Code behind him, its going to be a long time before anyone comes close to taking the title from him.

Bake Sale Bob: I can't believe I'm actually going to agree with the General for once.  The card may say this match is Gerome Phillips vs. Drake Younger for the HWA heavyweight title, but we all know it will really be The Code vs. Drake Younger.  It all comes down to a numbers game, and I don't think Drake can beat all of The Code by himself so the former King retains the title.

Ryan Campbell: Something tells me Drake wont mind The Code's interference one bit. This man is crazy, he has no fear and no concept of what he is getting himself into. And that makes him a very dangerous man. If there is anyone in indy wrestling today that can just go with the flow and adapt to win its Drake Younger. Drake will not back down and will not be scared of the entire Code group walking down that aisle. Call me crazy but he is a fresh mind to this whole Code thing, He'll come into Norwood not focused on groups, or agendas, or intimidation, it is only one thing the HWA Heavyweight Title, and I think he pulls of the upset at Road to Destiny.

4 TEAM ELIMINATION MATCH for the HWA TAG TEAM TITLES

Chris The BrainSix Time HWA Tag Team Champions does have a nice ring to it and that's exactly what Dave and Jake Crist will be if they win and that's exactly who I believe will win. We all saw the controversial way they lost the belts earlier this year, it is time for justice to be served and The Irish Airborne to return to the top of the tag team mountain here in the HWA.

Andrew Grevas: Now we all know that Brain is the head of the Irish Airborne Fan Club and has posters of Dave and Jake hanging on his bedroom wall, but that's no reason to start talking crazy. Anytime The Noble Bloods are in the ring, they are always the favorites to win. No one knows the strengths and weaknesses of The Irish Airborne better than The Noble Bloods. The Nobles are the modern day Midnight Express and while Danny O'Brien is no James E. Cornette, The Nobles are leaving Norwood as the new champs.

Bake Sale Bob: Now three out of the four teams in this match are former HWA tag team champions, but after Friday all four teams will have held the titles.  That's right I'm going to pick the proverbial dark horse in this one and go with The Heat Seekers.  You have not one but two competitors who will go to any lengths to win the match and that spells new tag team champions in my book.

Ryan Campbell: Well I guess I'm gonna make this interesting boys as I will take The Hybrids. A few months ago in Norwood The Hybrids showed me something, and it wasn't just getting rid of Danny O'Brien, (I think I just threw up in my mouth a little) It was the renewed attitude and focus they showed me. Since that night they have been fine tuning there craft all over the area and now there back to be the best team in the HWA. I think the Airborne and Nobles wont be able to get out of each others way to win this one, and the Heat Seekers just are not ready yet to be HWA Tag Champs. Hybrids are ready and able.

HWA AMERICAN LUCHACORE CHAMPION RON MATHIS vs. JESSE EMERSON

Chris The Brain: Most people would agree that it is only a matter of time before Jesse Emerson can once again call himself a champion here in the HWA, but will HWA Road To Destiny be that night? I want to say yes, but Ron Mathis is a wizard in these HWA American Luchacore matches. He takes full advantage of the rules he hangs out with an unsavory bunch who are always willing to lend a helping hand and I don't think there's a line he won't cross to keep that title. I hope Jesse proves me wrong, but I'm going with Ron Mathis here.

Andrew Grevas: Looks like Brain and I agree on a second match. Emerson started 2010 off hotter than anybody in the HWA, but Ron Mathis is the one currently on a roll. He's in the middle of a great run as champion and you've gotta love anyone who lives by Jesse Ventura's old motto of "Win if you can, lose if you must, but always cheat".

Bake Sale Bob: Roundtable after Roundtable I would go against the grain and pick Ron Mathis.  I think it worked out just once or twice, but all the rest he just let me down.  He is a great Luchacore Champion and he knows how to use the rules to his favor, but his luck is gonna run out at Road To Destiny.  Jesse Emerson goes in as the challenger but he leaves once again a champion.  And I'm even gonna go out on a limb and say Gilbert's "help" will have a hand in Mathis losing the title.

Ryan Campbell: Well boys I'm not used to picking last but under these new Roundtable rules I'm entitled to all your info before I make my choice. You all make valid points but this match all comes down to the American Luchacore Rule Set. They heavily favor Ron Mathis and as I said when Mathis won that title, those rules play right into his hand and he could have that title for a while. I had to agree with anything Mathis says but the statement he said about dong anything to keep that title I believe. Jesse will outwrestle and out muscle Ron Mathis but that title is tailor made for Mathis and he will retain.

TAPED FIST MATCH: AMERICAN KICKBOXER 2 vs. TAREK THE LEGEND

Chris The Brain: A most interesting chapter in the rivalry between Kickboxer and Tarek will be written at HWA Road To Destiny when these two meet in a unique Taped Fist Match. There will be a pole on one of the ring posts and on that pole will be a roll of tape, first guy who gets to it can tape up his fist and that pretty much means it is lights out for the other guy. The key to this match is time. Kickboxer is already coming in with a busted hand, if Tarek capitalizes on the injury early, incapacitates Kickboxer and gets the tape, Kickboxer will look like Tarek did last time we were in Norwood, flat on his back and in dreamland. The less than 100% Kickboxer's only chance of winning is if the sadistic Tarek toys with him and makes a mistake and a veteran like Tarek doesn't make too many of those. The Legend wins.

Andrew Grevas:  American Kickboxer 2 has wanted to beat Tarek for several months now. I rooted for Kickboxer and told the world he would make his name by beating The Legend. Well, I was wrong then and I'm changing my tune this time around. Tarek is a true legend in this great sport and he always finds a way to win. In Norwood, Kickboxer's heart will be broken one more time.

Bake Sale Bob: Now on paper it would look like Kickboxer would have the edge in this match because he is faster and could get to the tape faster.  But, and this is a huge but, I don't think someone with a broken hand fairs much of a chance in a taped fist match.  Kickboxer has the heart but I still think the Legend comes out on top.

Ryan Campbell: If memory serves me right Kickboxer has already knocked Tarek out cold. Now were gonna throw taped fists into the mix. While I can say I have never seen a Taped Fist Challenge it certainly should be interesting. The dynamic of this match is that at any moment it can end with one of the competitors being knocked out cold. Because of this aspect I have to take Kickboxer but I'm sure this isn't the last time we'll see these two fighting.

"THE MADNESS" CHRIS HALL vs. DUSTIN RAYZ & AARON XTREME

Chris The Brain: I hate to pull out the old "Be careful what you wish for" line, but it is fitting in this scenario. Chris Hall has allowed Dustin Rayz to get under his skin and now the ball is in Dustin's court. Whenever you are playing your opponents game you are ripe for the picking which is why I'm going with Rayz and Xtreme as the victors.

Andrew Grevas: Dustin Rayz has a great mind for this sport. He is always thinking a few steps ahead of his foes and rest assured, he's figured out a game plan for this match. That being said, sometimes anger, rage and brute strength can overcome well thought out plans. Its hard for me to bet against Dustin and Mr. Xtreme, but a win in Norwood could be just what Madness needs to get back in the title hunt.

Bake Sale Bob: You don't have to be a math wiz to know that two should always beat one, but I think when that one is The Madness that rule doesn't always apply.  Dustin Rayz is the master of mind games and has been dodging Chris Hall at every chance he can.  There is also no doubt that Rayz will also try to get in his head and talk The Madness into joining his crusade and not even having the match.  I think the mind games end and The Madness finally gets his hands on Rayz and Aaron Xtreme and overcomes the odds.

Ryan Campbell: Well this should be interesting. I would like to see the tale of the tape for this match to see how much, if any, size Madness is giving up. Usually I would take the numbers but an angry Madness is a scary thing to have to deal with. Madness wants Rayz, he might just see Xtreme as an obstacle in the way. I see this could turn out bad for Rayz and Xtreme.

SID FABULOUS vs. SHANK BARZINI

Chris The Brain: Neither man will have a home field advantage in this one as both are extremely popular with the HWA fans, but as I've stated in the past, I really can't bring myself to pick against "The Catalina Wine Mixer" and while I think Shank has a promising future and respect his mentor Brian Beech, I gotta go with Sidney.

Andrew Grevas: SID! SID! SID! Sid rules!

Bake Sale Bob: Did the general even make a pick?  That's more of a statement. Anyways, I think that being under the tutelage of Brian Beech has given Shank that killer edge he has been missing.  Gone will be the compassion for the competition and it will be replaced with the smash mouthed style of Mr. Beech.  Shank gets his hand raised in this one.

Ryan Campbell: This is the unstoppable force meeting the immovable object. Both these men are running hot right now but only one can win this Friday. It really is a toss up but I believe the power of Jeremy Madrox's mustache will help push Sid to victory.

TIM DONST vs. CHRISJEN HAYME

Chris The Brain: We all know about Tim Donst and the things he can do inside the ring, both from his past in the company and his work in Chikara but this is only the second time Chrisjen Hayme will be competing in the HWA. Both men have similar styles and both have about the same level of experience, but when push comes to shove I think Donst has more of a killer instinct and while I expect this to be a scientific contest, everybody wants to win and Donst can tap into his darkside if need be to get the W.

Andrew Grevas: I had to do some research on Mr. Hayme from my vacation home in an undisclosed Island in order to make a proper prediction for this match. A win in this match could mean a lot for both men and I fully expect this to be a back and forth contest. I'm calling upset here. Donst is more well known by HWA fans, but after this match Chrisjen Hayme will be a force to be dealt with here in the HWA.

Bake Sale Bob: I never knew a Corona in the fridge and a picture of a palm tree on the wall made a vacation home...I'm sure this will be a back and forth contest but Donst will use the crowd and the home ring advantage to pick up the win here.  Now back to my vacation home on nerd island.

Ryan Campbell: Well I think predicting Bob vs. Grevas in a Vacation Home Showdown might be interesting. But in this match I think I'll have to take Donst. He knows how to win here. I have been in the ring with Chrisjen Hayme and Tim Donst and both are great competitors but I think Donst will have the edge in Norwood. Now I'm off to my real home, people without jobs don't typically have vacation homes.
