Dustin Rayz returned to the HWA in the fall of 2009 after a lengthy hiatus and ever since has been one of the most talked about figures in the HWA. Dustin returned as an ally to Dave and Jake Crist, only to turn his back on them in December. Since then Dustin has continued to be one of the HWA's most controversial figures and a frequent contender to both the HWA Heavyweight Title and the HWA American Luchacore Championship.   - Andrew Grevas, HWA Online Chief Correspondent

 Q: Why did you turn your back on your longtime friends - guys you once said were like your brothers, The Irish Airborne?

A: First off let me make it clear to everyone out there that I never planned on coming back to the HWA! I suffered my own personal issues that needed dealing with, but one Friday night while at home, sitting in my office I got a phone call. This call was from the one and only Dave Crist. See Grevas most don't know this but the Crists and I go way back, so far back in fact that the relationship between us is more like brothers than friends. Now Dave asked me if I could find the strength to come back and make a stand for one night with the Irish Airborne. I could not find it in my heart to refuse my brother, so I accepted! What I discovered when I made my return was the broken shambles of what the Irish Airborne used to be, and I was disgusted so much that I couldn't take it any longer! I decided after years of being in their shadow that it was time for Dustin Rayz to stand out!

 Q: Obviously the Airborne are now out of the HWA but why didn't we get to see you in the ring with them after you turned on them?

 A:  I think that both myself and the Airborne know that another confrontation with me would end in only pain and disappointment for them! They should consider themselves lucky that they left the HWA before they had to face me in the ring!

 Q: Lets change gears here for a minute. Whom in the HWA do you respect?

 A: See Grevas that's funny that you ask because the word "respect" is thrown around so much! I bet not one fan that comes to the HWA events or any of the guys in the locker room could give you a definition of respect because they've never had or given any since they day they first opened their eyes to this world, so your answer is no one...I respect no one but myself!
Q: Fans have recently taken to calling you a chicken during your matches. What do you have to say to these fans?
A: Chicken? Me a chicken?! How dare anyone refer to me as a winged fowl who lives in its own waste! I think the word chicken better describes all the third class white trash that populates the front row of every HWA event I grace them with my presence on! I sir am no CHICKEN!

 Q: What should HWA fans expect from Dustin Rayz in 2010?

 A:  No more will I find a glass ceiling holding me down! I've made a name for myself in many companies, winning titles and tournaments all over the country, but I've come back to stake my claim in the HWA, so consider this the year two thousand Rayz!

A: Parting words? Oh I have parting words Grevas. When you find yourself caught in the endless cycle of your sad every day lives, I want you to take a good long hard look in the mirror and realize one thing.......You will never be Dustin f***ing Rayz!
