August 13, 2010: The Heartland Wrestling Association was shocked and saddened by the news that Lance Cade had passed away at the age of 29.

Cade was a former HWA Heavyweight Champion and co-holder of the HWA Tag Team titles prior to his time in World Wrestling Entertainment.  Cade most recently competed in WWE's developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling.

Our deepest condolences go out to the family, friends and fans of Lance Cade.
