On January 18th, 2008 after more than a year the Heartland Wrestling Association returned to Dayton, Ohio as they presented HWA Outbreak at the Dayton Gym Club.

  • BJ Whitmer ended the Buffalo Bad Boy's record breaking title reign to become the new HWA Heavyweight Champ.

  • Chris Hero beat Eddie Kingston.

  • "The Solution" Alan Wasylychyn defeated "Astonishing" Aaron Williams after a suplex on a chair.

  • The GP Code won a Three Way Dance against The Hybrids and the team of Dick Rick and Kimera to remain HWA Tag Team Champions.

  • ODB defeated Mary Elizabeth.

  • Nikita Allanov beat Lightning Tim Lutz.

  • Billy Roc won a 6 Pack Elimination Match against Dustin Rayz, Virus, Hydra, Sami Callihan & The Funky Pharoh to become the first man to qualify for the upcoming HWA Cruiserweight Championship Tournament.
