Old Man Winter may have postponed HWA
CyberClash 3.0, but HWA officials are happy to announce that they have
been able to sign the BJ Whitmer/Nigel McGuinness main event for the
rescheduled HWA CyberClash 3.0 event coming to Sports Plus on Friday Night
April 25th.
McGuinness is among the most successful
HWA alumnus of them all, using the skills he learned and honed in the HWA
ring to go on to become an international wrestling superstar and the top
dog at Ring Of Honor. His return to the HWA on its own would have been a
big time happening, but throw in the fact that he'll be challenging for
the HWA Heavyweight Title and you have a main event worthy of the
CyberClash legacy.
BJ Whitmer, who will be presented with a
brand new HWA Heavyweight Championship belt at CyberClash, is not looking
to part company with his new title so quickly. The grizzled veteran has
proven he has the skills and the mean streak to win anyway he can. And
while Nigel's ROH World Title will not be on the line, a successful title
defense by BJ would send shockwaves through out the wrestling world and
raise Whitmer's stock in a major way.
HWA Online will have more details on the
rescheduled HWA CyberClash 3.0 event next week.
