Doug Charlez made a dramatic return to the HWA when he came to the rescue of his friend, Aaron Xtreme after Xtreme was kicked to the curb by his devious mentor, Rayz... Charlez and Xtreme made a few appearances for the HWA in the summer of 2009, but family obligations forced Charlez to cut his HWA run short... The reunited DNA quickly rose up the ranks of the HWA tag team scene and became contenders for the HWA Tag Team Titles... At HWA Heatwave 2011, DNA came out on top of a Tag Team Gauntlet match pinning The Heat Seekers to become the new HWA Tag Team Champions... DNA's title run would be short lived after Aaron Xtreme suffered a severe neck injury forcing DNA to surrender the HWA Tag Team Titles at HWA Road To Destiny 2011.
