Known most for his time as one half of the Hybrids tag team. Donovan Cain and Jason Lyte enjoyed two reigns as HWA Tag Team Champions. Their first reign began at HWA Championship Wednesday on February 11th, 2009 when they defeated The GP Code... In April 2009,  The GP Code would win the titles back in Peoria, IL but the Hybrids would regain them a week later in Norwood at CyberClash 4.0... Held off the challenge of Hardcore Religion in a series of matches in the summer of 2009, but would lose the HWA Tag Team Titles to HWA newcomers The Kosher Klub in September 2009... The Hybrids would eventually part ways with their manager Danny O'Brien and attempt to regain the HWA Tag Team Titles for a third time... After spending most of 2010 chasing the tag team championship, The Hybrids made the ultimate gamble in December 2010, putting their status as a tag team on the line to get a shot at both the HWA Tag Team Titles (held by The Noble Bloods) and the OCW Tag Team Titles (held by The Heat Seekers). The gamble did not pay off and now for the first time in his HWA career, Donovan Cain finds himself on his own.
