Aaron has displayed amazing recuperative powers in his time with the HWA coming back from injuries that would have put a lesser man on the shelf for months... Aaron captured the reinstated HWA Cruiserweight Championship, surviving a five man elimination match at HWA Road To Destiny in August of 2008... Won the 2008 IPW Super Junior Heavyweight Tournament... Lost the HWA Cruiserweight Title in controversial fashion to Tim Donst in a special Winners Take All Six Man Tag Team Match in March 2009... In May 2009, won a Four Way Match to regain the HWA Cruiserweight Championship after Donst was stripped of the title after violating the 30 Day Rule... After Tim Donst destroyed the HWA Cruiserweight Championship Trophy, HWA officials renamed the championship the HWA American Luchacore Championship and presented Aaron with a new belt... Aaron raised the stock of the HWA American Luchacore title by defending the titles against all comers... Aaron would surrender the HWA American Luchacore title after he defeated King Vu in a Champion vs. Champion Match at the 2009 edition of HWA World War 3 becoming the HWA Heavyweight Champion... Unfortunately for Aaron he would lose the HWA Heavyweight Title to Jon Moxley the same night he surrendered the title, leaving him without any gold.
